“This property wins on location; it's truly at the heart of Oxford. Its 17th-century cottages offer a quirky, historic ambiance, though some may find the old building a bit cramped and creaky. What stands out to me is the personalised service, from flexible parking to the staff's genuine warmth.”

Charming Stay in Historic Location

great stylepublic roomsexcellent cleanlinesscar parking
The accommodation presented great style. The public rooms were also great, quaint, a bit offbeat, and full of history. All areas had excellent cleanliness. Car parking proved very important to us. I loved this hotel.
I noticed very slight noise due to thin walls.
Dining
8/10
The complimentary continental breakfast features a basket containing croissants, pastries, and toast. One must pay extra for condiments. No meats, cheese, fruit, or yogurt were included with the continental option.
Location
9/10
The hotel is situated near to one of the oldest pubs. The building stands along a laneway in buildings of the 17th century. I found this location provides convenient access to local attractions.

The breakfast was included, and the pastries and coffee were acceptable. At least i didn't have to pay extra for that.
The room felt cramped, barely enough space to move around, and the walls seemed paper-thin because i could hear every noise from the hallway and adjacent rooms. It was disruptive and made relaxation difficult. i expected better sound insulation given the price.

I liked the provided parking facility. It was important to me. Presentation of the accommodation seemed great. The public rooms had nice, quaint atmosphere. All areas looked very clean. I loved that.
The breakfast was continental with toast only. It lacked fruit, meats, or cheese. This felt limited for the price I paid.

i was so excited about the location, right near the colleges! (it's a dream for history buffs like me). the staff were also helpful and kind .
my room was down the lane from the main building, meaning i had to walk outside to get to reception and breakfast. it wasn't a big deal, but it could be annoying in bad weather, i suppose. also, there weren't any fire detectors in my room, a slight concern.
